Why we selected the UniPunch tooling system
for producing our parts.

James Chabot, production manager at Novia Associates, Inc. in Salem New Hampshire, selected UniPunch Products as their tooling system operating in a newly installed 175 ton 10 foot Accurpress press brake.

A leading manufacturer of Vibration Isolation and Seismic Restraint devices, Novia required a tooling system to precisely produce holes in their standard and custom products. Variations in isolation device sizes prompted a tooling method that offered flexibility, simplicity in set up and quick change over.

To obtain the uppermost accuracy, Novia incorporated the template over the die button mounting method to obtain the +/- .005” hole to hole tolerances. With units mounted onto the UniPunch 5000 series bed rail, multiple parts are being produced in various lengths and hole patterns eliminating costly press downtime.
